- Understands “long” vs. “short,” such as, “show me the girl with long hair.”
- Identifies 2 different shapes, “square, circle, triangle”
- Repeats 5-8 word sentences, such as, “They are washing the dog.”
- Uses “he” and “she” correctly
- Counts up to 10
- Uses sentences with at least 5 words
- Uses past tense, verb + -ed or irregular form, “washed, caught”
- Names categories, “food, toys,”
*Refer to a Speech-Language Pathologist if the child has less than 8 items that apply.
